Day 2 Capetown

We flew from Joburg to Capetown an easy 2 hour flight. At the airport we were met by Carisa, Shelley, Urlich, and Mr. Brandt (Ul's dad). We checked into the flat we are renting and it is a very cool location, overlooking the Green Market Square. We got situated then headed to Royale for "the best burger". While walking we passed some very cool shops and I decided I would describe Capetown as a very european-caribbean-cuban-bohemian-type city. It has a cool laid back energy yet it is very vibrant and colorful. It is a beautiful city w/ mountains, beaches, and vineyards. At Royale I ate a very delicious burger and an awesome Avocado and Mint Milkshake that was so tasty it has to be noted. After Royale we headed to the Waterfront so we could check it out and get alcohol before 6pm. The Waterfront consists of shops and restaurants along a pretty waterfront. We took pictures and listened to a Zulu man play some unique instruments on the street. I bought a CD from him for R100 (about $13) then we bought food and wine to take back to our flat. We (Carisa, Ulrich, and Leeman) finished 4 bottles of wine and needless to say we had a blast.

At some point Carisa pointed out how annoying Leeman is for being a mama's boy. He is constantly yelling at Carisa "don't make mom sit in the middle" mom, you don't have to pay" "Mom can't sleep there!" or "Carisa, you're so rude to mom"
