We are so lucky for great family! Melissa met with the countertop people so the counters were installed while we were in Florida. Then John and Tony installed the sink and dishwasher while we were in Augusta for the masters. So we came home to this beautiful new kitchen. Today Leeman and I spent a couple of hours organizing and putting away all of our kitchen things.
Still on the list of things to buy are:
barstools
dining room chairs
we are exchanging our curtains for a different color
a new couch or something to cover this one. (I love the idea of a cream colored sofa, but in reality I am too worried about getting it dirty)
get a chandelier for over the dining room table
get cool lights to drop down over the "bar"
Still on the list of things to do:
paint the ceiling
paint the stairs
paint the baseboards
This will all have to wait till we return from South Africa!! Only 11 days to go!

ReplyDeleteIt is soo cool! I had dinner there the other night before showing homes to a client. Christy made me a delicious salad and then went with me to show homes. Fun, fun, fun!
