So I ordered a rug at 1:30am Friday morning and it was at our front door Saturday afternoon. I am super excited because it really pops against the floors. I wanted to do hollywood regency decor, but have abandoned because I think I would need more money to pull that off. Now I am going for more ethnic meets modern elegance. The curtains you see are being replaced in the next couple of days with golden dijon that are twice the width so they should be pretty plush and the white ones are being replaced with chiffon sheers. We still need new pillows, lamps, to mount the tv, and some accessories. Leeman assembled all of the kitchen drawers today and started to put doors and door handles on the cabinets only to be discouraged by some "mistakes" now we need to buy one new door!
We have officially ordered our countertops. We went with caesarstone in black and it should be here in about a week.
