I took a 2 day sewing class to make a bag and this is how it turned out. I am pretty pleased and impressed I was able to do this, but a little nervous moving forward without a teacher. It took a total of 7.5 hours and for future projects I will probably have to make smaller scale things. It is also reversible, but I don't see myself reversing it. What I loved most about the class was being forced to work (at home I can never focus on one thing at time) and taking the project step by step (I tend to skim read and think I have it, when in fact I don't) it was also great to work in a social environment with a teacher present for questions. I am attempting a smaller bag, so I will share when I am done.
love it...had fun making my bag too...can't wait to make more!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! This class wasn't in Atlanta, was it? I would love to learn to sew even a button onto something...!! Can't rely on my mom forever :)
